T M Tonmoy Islam
Hello and welcome to the website of T M Tonmoy Islam. I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Elon University. Originally from Bangladesh, I moved to the US in December, 2002. I completed my undergraduate studies at Transylvania University, Lexington, Kentucky in 2006. My majors were business administration and economics, and my minors were computer science and mathematics. I obtained my masters degree in economics from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, before coming to the University of Kentucky to pursue my Ph.D. degree in economics. I received my Ph.D. in August, 2012. My fields of specialization are labor economics, regional economics, economics of poverty and empirical microeconometrics. Click here to view my curriculum vitae.
